Briquette (carbon block) activated carbon is manufactured by compressing fine activated carbon powder with food-grade binders into solid blocks. This creates a dense filtration medium with sub-micron pore channels that provide superior contaminant removal compared to loose granular carbon.

Carbon blocks eliminate channeling and bypass issues common in GAC filters, ensuring every drop of water contacts the carbon. Available in standard cylinder shapes or custom geometries for OEM filter manufacturers.
