Filter Media, Not Just Carbon
We supply the loose granular activated carbon that goes inside drinking-water filters — for cartridge fillers, water-treatment OEMs and distributors. It is graded specifically for potable filter duty: high micropore volume for chlorine, taste and odor removal, high hardness so it does not shed fines into the treated water, and a pre-washed low-dust finish so cartridges rinse clear quickly on first use.
Made from 100% coconut shell and steam-activated with no chemical binders, this grade delivers an iodine number ≥1100 mg/g and ball-pan hardness above 98% — the microporous structure coconut carbon is known for, ideal for the low-molecular-weight compounds that affect drinking-water taste and safety. An acid-washed low-ash version (ash ≤1%, pH 6–8) is available where minimal leaching is required.
