Coal-based powdered activated carbon (PAC) is produced from bituminous coal through steam activation and fine grinding. With particle sizes of 200-325 mesh (D50: 15-25μm), it provides extremely rapid adsorption kinetics due to its high surface-to-volume ratio.

Widely used in municipal water treatment plants as a dosing agent, and in waste incineration flue gas treatment for dioxin and heavy metal removal. Cost-effective solution for batch treatment processes where rapid contact time is essential.
