Product Overview

Coal-based pellet (columnar) activated carbon is manufactured by extruding coal-based carbon powder with binder into uniform cylindrical shapes, followed by carbonization and steam activation. The resulting pellets offer excellent mechanical strength, low pressure drop, and high CTC adsorption values.

4mm diameter is the most popular specification globally. Available in standard, impregnated (KOH, KI, NaOH), and catalytic grades for specialized applications like H₂S removal and mercury capture.

Can pellet carbon be impregnated?
Yes, KOH-impregnated 4mm pellets are the industry standard for biogas desulfurization. We also offer NaOH, KI, sulfur, and KMnO₄ impregnation for mercury capture, acid gas removal, and formaldehyde removal.
